Have you ever got complements from someone like

Someone: You are so professional.

You: No, I’m not. Everybody can be a professional at their work.

Someone: The University that you studied is very hard to get in.

You: No, it’s not. Anybody can get in.

Someone: You are a good person.

You: Really, am I that good?

Someone: You are beautiful.

You: There are many people are more beautiful than me.

Someone: Why you have to abase yourself?

You: @#%*^! Start to aware why I have to abase myself?

I believe that one of the reasons that we cannot see our capabilities in ourselves because we deny all the complements we have got. The complements are like gifts from the universe. The answer that we give out from our mouth like; “No, I’m not” reflects to our thoughts, feelings and actions. As a result, it becomes a circle of a limiting belief. It’s a belief that a good person has to abase oneself otherwise other people will disapprove. However, the result that we got is we blind ourselves from seeing our good qualifications.

Today, telling yourself that “A good person is able to show off” for you to see what you have and go out and help others.

คนชม: เธอทำงานเก่งจังเลย
ตัวเรา: ไม่หรอก งานแบบนี้ใครๆก็ทำได้
คนชม: เธอรู้มั๊ยว่ามหาวิทยาลัยที่เธอเรียนเข้ายากนะ
ตัวเรา: ไม่หรอก มหาวิทยาลัยนี้ใครๆก็เข้าได้
คนชม: เธอเป็นคนดีจัง
ตัวเรา: จริงเหรอ ฉันเป็นคนดีขนาดนั้นเหรอ
คนชม: เธอสวยจังเลย
ตัวเรา: ไม่หรอก มีคนสวยกว่าเราตั้งเยอะ
คนมาเตือนสติ: นี่เธอๆๆ เป็นคนดีไม่ต้องถ่อมตัวมากก็ได้
ตัวเรา: @#%*^! เริ่มได้สติ

คิดว่าสาเหตุอันหนึ่งที่ทำให้เรามองไม่เห็นความสามารถของตัวเองนั่นคือการปฏิเสธคำชมที่เป็นเหมือน ของขวัญที่โลกมอบให้กับเรา จากคำพูดที่ออกจากปากที่ว่า “ไม่หรอกแบบนี้ใครๆก็ทำได้” ส่งผลต่อความคิด ความรู้สึก และ การกระทำ วนกันเป็นวงจรแล้วกลายเป็นความเชื่อที่ขังเราไว้ เพราะเราเชื่อว่าการเป็นคนดีต้องถ่อมตัว กลัวคนอื่นหมั่นไส้ แต่ผลลัพธ์ที่ได้ในชีวิตทำให้เรามองไม่เห็นศักยภาพตัวเองว่าเรามีคุณสมบัติอะไรดีๆในตัวเราบ้าง

วันนี้บอกตัวเองว่า “เธอๆๆ เป็นคนดีโชว์ออฟบ้างก็ได้” เพื่อที่เราจะได้มองเห็นว่าเรามีอะไรดีแล้วออกไปไปทำประโยชน์
